I have been meaning to write you this email ever since I got back from vacation on Monday. I as you can imagine I am thrilled that your design has won such a prestigious award, particularly when considering the numbers of entries many of which I can only imagine were of a very high standard. The store looks fantastic and we have received lots of great feedback from landlords, vendors and most satisfyingly from our competitors. You, Luke, Gerald and the entire team deserve a lot of credit for what you have created. Thank you!

As of Tuesday this week I had intended to fly over to New York to join you at the presentation as well as taking the opportunity to have a good luck around Manhattan. Sadly late on Tuesday I was contacted by two of our Directors who would like myself and David Tang to accompany them to KL for a tour of our store on Monday. Hence I will have to be with you in spirit rather than in person!
